About the Book:
Sometimes adults are so busy with the things they need to do that they fail to notice when a little one is having a bad day. Jessamouse learns this the hard way when she seems only to get in the way of her family on Saturday.
My Review:
Saturday is a delightfully charming book! It is a must have, in my opionion, for every little girl. My daughters love to sit and read this story because it's full of activities they can relate too. The premise is simple and honest. The little girl is adorable and characterizes the essence of children. Jessa is a wonderful writer! I have had the pleasure of reading more than one of her titles and she clearly writes so that people of all backgrounds can relate to the subject matter. This children's book is simple, elegant, charming and quite the trip down memory lane! I remember spending many Saturdays doing a lot of the same things Jessamouse does in the book. On top of all this the illustrations and setup of the book are wonderful and completely enjoyable. If you don't win the title, I highly suggest you purchase a copy! At $8 it is very affordable as well as entertaining!
